Angklung is the musical instrument of the bamboo which is made in the western part of
the Javanese island in Indonesia.
It makes a cut bamboo dry up for several years and it becomes a musical instrument.
Angklung continues to grow for a long time after becoming a musical instrument.
The temperature and the humidity change ｔhe sound of bamboo
Therefore, we are sometimes surprised at the change of the sound immediately before the
concert begins.
The bamboo makes a mysterious sound.
The sound gives the audience power.
The past, Bali person cut the cord of the navel of the newborn baby using the knife of the
bamboo.
It is because the people believe " the bamboo has holy power ".
It feels mysterious power which is believed by the Indonesian person when I, too, have
Angklung in the hand .
Angklung gave a lot of friends to me.
The most important friend is Mr.SWENNTRA of the SUAR AGUNG art group leader of Bali
Island.
His music is applauded in Indonesia.
Then, the person in all over the world is praising it ｔｏｏ. .
The heart of the audience is made to be moved by the sound.
He said the following word to me.
「Let's aim to have a lot of friends without aiming to become rich.」
I always remember this word when I have Angklung in the hand.
